Have you noticed the word, TREAT in RETREAT?  Well, I certainly did.  That is what this month of January is for me a real treat.  Yesterday I spent my free time reading inspirational books, watched a inspirational show, went for a beautiful fresh air walk and infused my body with healthy foods and a Wild Rose Cleanse.  To say my sleep was fulfilling and good is an understatement.  Today I am treating myself to a massage and chiropractic treatment.  My mind is getting fed, my spirit is getting fed and my body is getting fed.

What is considered a TREAT for you?  Why not gift yourself the entire month of January with less to do so you can figure out what you’d like to do.  To live the true life of your soul, it’s imperative to take the time necessary to indulge in your life’s desires and dreams.  January is a really lovely sacred time for me.  It’s also a very exciting time.  Focus on what would make you feel good and then incorporate more of that into your life.

Can you take yourself out on a lunch date with a good book and a journal in hand?

Can you go for a beautiful fresh air walk on your lunch hour to refresh and renew?  How about a walk on the beach or a hike in the mountains?

Can you begin your gratitude journal or like I did, make a list of great days so you can remember what kind of days bring you joy?

Can you relax on the couch with a cup of tea and watch travel shows?

Can you book a make-over or buy something luxurious for yourself?

Have you purchased your vision scrapbook or journal to spend this month setting your intentions?

Can you book a pedicure to get your weary feet back in good shape?

Take the time to RETREAT with Your TREATS.  This is only step one my love.  We have more R-Therapy coming up!
